The University of Memphis and CBS College Sports Network have announced that the Conference USA men's basketball showdown between the league's top two teams, No. 8 Memphis (20-3, 8-0 C-USA) and Tulsa (17-7, 7-2), on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT will be available live and on-demand around the world via Internet video streaming as part of a special online event. The Tigers took a 55-54 decision in Tulsa on Jan. 13.
Current annual subscribers to Memphis All-Access will receive live streaming video of the TV feed of all Tigers games on CBSC as part of their subscriptions, making this a great time for fans to purchase an annual subscription. Those subscribers can just log in with their Memphis All-Access account and begin watching the games. All others can access each live video stream for a one-time payment of $9.95. Please note that monthly subscribers will have to purchase the pay-per-views.
Here is the complete schedule of remaining Memphis basketball games on CBS College Sports Network this season:
- February 11 - vs. Tulsa, 7 p.m. CT
- February 14 - at Southern Miss, 4 p.m. CT
- February 18 - vs. SMU, 7 p.m. CT
- March 4 - at Houston, 7 p.m. CT
- March 7 - women's basketball C-USA semifinals (if Memphis reaches this round)
- March 13 - C-USA semifinals (if Memphis reaches this round)
The games also will be broadcast nationally on CBS College Sports Network, which is channel 222 on Comcast cable in the Memphis area, as well as channel 613 on DirecTV and channel 152 on Dish Network/Echostar. For information on the availability of CBS College Sports in your area, click here.
The online video stream of Saturday's broadcast also will be free for current annual subscribers to Tulsa All-Access and to current annual subscribers to CBS College Sports XXL - which gives fans additional access to content from schools in the CBS Interactive network across a variety of sports. The broadcasts will be some of the hundreds of events to be offered on a pay-per-view basis by CBS College Sports Network during the 2008-09 school year.
