GLENDALE, Ariz. - The University of Memphis Alumni Association has scheduled a True Blue Sweet Sixteen pep rally for Thursday, Mar. 26 prior to the start of the West Region semifinal games at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

The pep rally begins at 2 p.m. (Glendale time) in the Renaissance Glendale's Media Center (9495 W. Coyotes Blvd., Glendale, AZ 85305), which is located on the north side of the University of Phoenix Stadium where the regional is being played. The pep rally will feature the Mighty Sound of the South and the Tiger cheer and pom squads.

The Memphis-Missouri NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 game in Glendale is the second of the two West Region semifinal contests on Thursday. The first game has Connecticut meeting Purdue at 4:07 p.m. (Glendale time), with the Memphis-Missouri game to start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The estimated time of the Tigers' NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 contest is 6:37 p.m. (Glendale time).
