MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The 2007 John Calipari Basketball School is fast approaching, and registration remains open for all four sessions. All University of Memphis basketball camps are slated for the month of June.

The Tigers' opening camp - Spring Into Hoops - tips off the summer sessions June 4-7. The Mike Miller Shooting Camp follows from June 11-13, while the Elite Overnight Camp is June 15-17. The final session is the Rod Strickland and Friends camp from June 25-28.

The following are the four John Calipari Basketball School sessions:

Spring Into Hoops
Dates: June 4-7
Time: 9 am-4 pm daily
Cost: $175
Ages: 7-18 (campers will work and play with others of appropriate age/talent)

This week of camp will be dedicated to helping every camper have a tremendous amount of fun in learning new techniques, improving their skills, playing exciting games and much more. With a high-octane daily schedule and fired-up coaches, this week promises to positively impact every camper.

Mike Miller Shooting Camp
Dates: June 11-13
Time: 9 am-4 pm daily
Cost: $175
Ages: 7-18

The game of basketball requires the ball to go through the hoop in order to score. Shooting the basketball is perhaps the most important skill that a young player can develop. That is why John Calipari and his staff bring in one of the best shooters in the NBA to help teach the art of shooting the ball. One of the NBA premier marksmen, Grizzlies' superstar shooter Mike Miller will be actively teaching and assisting every day of this camp session. Mike will share his secrets that helped him earn the 2000 NBA Rookie of the Year award and 2006 Sixth Man of the Year honor, and lead all guards in the NBA in field goal percentage during the 2004-05 season.

Elite Overnight Camp
Dates: June 15-17
Time: Check in 6-6:30 pm June 15; check out 11 am June 17
Cost: $185 (includes $30 key deposit; deposit returned when key is returned at checkout)/$100 for commuters
Ages: 7-18 (campers will work and play with others of appropriate age/talent)

This Elite Overnight Session promises to be a weekend to remember. With some of the country's best coaches and the University of Memphis staff using their tremendous zeal, enthusiasm and unique daily format, the camp will be juiced up for a hoops weekend like no other.

Rod Strickland and Friends
Dates: June 25-28
Time: 9 am-4 pm daily
Cost: $225
Ages: 7-18 (campers will work and play with others of appropriate age/talent)

This week of camp will feature 17-year NBA veteran Rod Strickland, with guest appearances by colleagues in the NBA. The session will be dedicated to helping every camper have a tremendous amount of fun in learning new techniques, improving their skills, playing exciting games and much more. With a high-octane daily schedule and fired-up coaches, this week promises to positively impact every camper.
