Tigers Basketball Seat Selection At FedExForum Thursday And Friday
June 16, 2014
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - It's not officially summer yet, and Tigers fans already are eyeing the 2014-15 University of Memphis basketball season. And, this Thursday and Friday, June 19-20 at FedExForum, those fans can see what seats are available for the upcoming Tigers campaign.
This week's seat selection is not a reseating, but an opportunity for current and new donors to upgrade and purchase tickets for the 2014-15 season. Current donors can schedule an appointment to stop by FedExForum Thursday, June 19 from 4-7 p.m. (CT) and Friday, June 20 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (CT). The open house portion of the seat selection is Friday, June 20 from 4-6 p.m. (CT). Tigers head coach Josh Pastner will be in attendance at Friday's open house from 4-5 p.m. (CT).
Parking for seat selection is free in FedExForum's parking garage. Light drink refreshments will be provided during seat selection.
Memphis did not increase donation requirements or ticket prices for the 2014-15 season.
Current donors are asked to call the Memphis Athletics Development office at 901-678-2334 for more information or to reserve a time for seat selection. The order of seat selection for current donors is determined by Tiger Scholarship Fund Priority.
Donors are allowed to purchase up to six season tickets.
Those that select upgrades or new seats have to pay the required donation for those seats during this week's event. The payment for the season tickets is not required, but also can be paid at that time.
Donors and new customers that upgrade their locations will be entered in a drawing to win a fully-catered suite for one Tigers football game this fall. The winner also will receive a Tigers basketball locker room tour after his/her donation is paid.
Although not complete, the 2014-15 home schedule includes American Athletic Conference foes Cincinnati, SMU, Tulsa and UConn, which won the 2014 NCAA championship, in addition to a non-conference date with Oklahoma State. This is the Tigers' second season playing in the American Athletic Conference.
