MEMPHIS. Tenn. - The start of the 2008-09 University of Memphis basketball season is just over three months away, but the time to renew $100 season tickets is coming to a close soon.

Fans that purchased $100 season tickets for the exciting 2007-08 campaign have until Monday, July 28 to renew those tickets for the upcoming year. Those season ticket holders are encouraged to renew their $100 season tickets via the Memphis athletics web site at www.gotigersgo.com, but can also call the Athletic Ticket Office at 678-2331 or drop by the office located in the Athletic Office Building on 570 Normal St.

The Tigers return eight letterwinners from the 2007-08 squad that won an NCAA record 38 games (38-2 record) and reached the NCAA national championship game. Memphis also adds a top-five national recruiting class for 2008-09.
