Memphis, Tenn. - After wrapping up Midnight Madness in the wee hours of the morning, the University of Memphis men's basketball team got down to business with its first practice Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers focussed on fundamentals during a two-hour workout. The U of M returns to practice Sunday before beginning a week of two-a-day drills on Monday. In addition to standard afternoon practices, the Tigers will go through a one-hour workout prior to classes each morning during the week.

Earlier at Midnight Madness, the Blue and White teams played to a 15-15 tie.

Memphis begins its season Nov. 4 with the first of two exhibition games. The Tigers' regular-season opener is Nov. 22 against Georgetown at the Maui Invitational.
