MEMPHIS, Tenn. - John Grice scored 20 points, knocking down a trio of three-pointers late, as The University of Memphis held a controlled scrimmage for students, faculty and staff in the Elma Roane Fieldhouse Wednesday.

The scrimmage consisted of five, five-minute periods and was won by the Blue, 44-38. Freshman guard Scooter McFadgon led the Blue with 14 points while Shyrone Chatman added 11 points.

In addition to his 20 points, Grice had a game-high five rebounds for the White. Kelly Wise added 12 points and four rebounds while Marcus Moody finished with 11 points for the White.

Memphis plays host to The Universal All-Stars Nov. 2 in the first of two exhibition games the Tigers will play. The U of M's regular season opener comes Nov. 17 against Temple.
