MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The official start of the 2009-10 University of Memphis basketball season is just over a week away with the regular season opener versus Jackson State Nov. 13, and Tiger fans still have an opportunity to their team play in person. The Memphis Athletic Ticket Office announced Wednesday that a limited number of individual game tickets are available for Tiger home contests, with the exception of the Dec. 31 Tennessee and Feb. 6 Gonzaga games.

A few tickets also remain for the Tigers' Nov. 17 encounter versus No. 1 nationally-ranked Kansas in St. Louis, Mo. The contest is a part of the Hall of Fame Showcase that continues with three home games in the Bluff City versus Tennessee Tech Nov. 20, Central Arkansas Nov. 24 and Oakland Nov. 30.

To purchase tickets for individual home games or to the Hall of Fame Showcase in St. Louis, fans are encouraged to go to the Memphis athletics web site at gotigersgo.com and click on the tickets link in the left column of the front page.

The Tigers close their exhibition schedule Monday, Nov. 9 versus Christian Brothers at FedExForum. Game time is 7 p.m. (CT).
