Memphis, Tenn. - Marcus Moody led six University of Memphis players in double figures with 18 points to go along with five steals and three assists as the Tigers defeated the Outback All Star Supercats 99-40 in an exhibition game Thursday.

The win was the Tigers’ second exhibition win of the preseason. Last week the U of M defeated VASDA USA Gold 101-53.

Memphis held the Supercats to just 28.6 percent shooting for the game and forced 32 turnovers.

Every player on the Memphis roster scored with the exception of Paris London who played eight first-half minutes with a flu bug.

Shannon Forman scored 16 points while Keiron Shine added 15, nailing three of four three-pointers. Kelly Wise posted a double-double, scoring 12 points to go with 11 rebounds. Aaron Mulvagh came off the bench to score 13 points. Mulvagh also had four rebounds and two assists while going 5-for-9 from the floor.

Memphis tips off the regular season Nov. 22 when the Tigers take on Georgetown in the first round of the Maui Invitational.
