After graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Business Administration (Finance major) in December, 2011, Davis returned to captain the Tigers' 2012 squad.

Davis, who was a member of Justin Fuente's initial Leadership Council as a senior, played in 34 games during his career, starting 27 contests including every game of his final two seasons playing for the Tigers.

For his career, he recorded 162 total tackles and had 13 tackles for loss. Additionally, he had three interceptions, nine pass breakups, five forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries.

Davis was named the inaugural winner of the Lee Roy Selmon Community Spirit Award following his senior season. He was also named one of 10 finalists for the ARA Sportsmanship Award and was a semifinalist for the Coach Wooden Citizenship Award.

Davis married the former Sierra Byrd on Dec. 29, 2012.
