Signed with the Tigers in January of 2012 and enrolled in school for the spring semester ... In first season as a Memphis Tiger played in all 12 games, starting 11 contests as a junior in 2012 ... Transferred to Memphis from Northeast Mississippi Community College (NEMCC) ... Prior to his time at NEMCC, attended Georgia Tech.

Played 761 of 772 offensive plays in first season at the University of Memphis ... Started 11 of 12 games and played three different positions during the season ... Started the first four games of the season at right guard while starting the final seven games at center ... Only nonstart came against Rice in which he played 60 of 65 offensive snaps at center and right guard ... In addition to playing at center during the Marshal game, also played at left guard ... Blocked for a unit which raised its total offense in Conference USA games from 243.0 yards per game to 327.1 yards an outing (26 percent increase in yardage from 2011 to 2012) ... in C-USA games, Memphis raised its rushing offense total by 63 percent ... As a sophomore, helped bolster an offensive line that saw NEMCC's offense become one of the most prolific in school history ... Northeast scored 254 points in 2011, which ranked fifth in school history ... NEMCC tallied 2,618 yards of total offense in 2011 ...
