Joined the Tigers after playing the `06 & `07 seasons at Florida State, and the 2008 season at Pearl River CC...Was granted the 2006 season back after suffering a knee injury...Lettered in `09 and `10 at Memphis...Played in nine of 12 games in the Tiger secondary and on special teams with three starts at strong safety in 2009...His two interceptions against UTEP ranked in a tie for the 11th highest single game total in 2009 in the NCAA FBS...Tied for eighth on the team with 42 tackles, including 18 solo stops and had two pass breakups and an assisted TFL.. Earned the inaugural Jeremy Williams Award (Spring's Most Valuable Player), which was presented at the 2010 Blue-Gray Game...Finished third on the team in tackles with 66 in 2010...Was second in passes defended with four and tied for first with two interceptions...Both of his picks were against UAB.

Transferred to Memphis after playing the 2008 season at nationally ranked Pearl River (Miss.)
