University of Memphis Head Football Coach Justin Fuente headlined speakers at the Inside Scoop Luncheon on July 17 held in the ballroom of the University of Memphis Holiday Inn. He was joined by U.S. Congressman Steve Cohen, Associate AD of Development Bill Lansden, and RS Senior Linebacker Akeem Davis; along with a capacity crowd excited for the 2012 Memphis Tiger football season.

After graduating from the University of Memphis, was a returning captain for his senior season on the field ... Two-time captain selection was also a member of first-year coach Justin Fuente's Leadership Council during senior year ... Played in 34 games during his career, starting 27 games including each game over the past two seasons ... For his career recorded 162 total tackles and had 13 tackles for loss (-58 yards) ...
