Signed with the Tigers out of Coffeyville Community College, where he played strong safety and helped the Ravens to a 6-4 overall record and a 5-2 mark in conference action in 2011...Was credited with 49 tackles, seven pass breakups, four fumble recoveries and one interception in 2011...Played linebacker and defensive end at Monsignor Pace High for coach Alvin Slaughter...As a senior at Pace, posted 109 tackles, including 15 sacks, en route to second-team All-Dade County honors...Helped squad to three straight district championships (2007-09)...Participated in the Dade vs. Broward Private School All-Star Game in 2009...Was a team captain as both a junior and a senior...Had a stellar game of 14 tackles against Miami Edison High in 2008...Also lettered three seasons in track, helping team to a state championship in 2009...Ran the 400-meter, 800-meter and 4x4 relay.
