Was one of 11 true freshmen to see action in the Tiger lineup in 2010...Played a key role with the special teams unit in eight of the 12 games...Was credited with an assisted tackle on a kickoff return versus UTEP.

Was a member of the Tiger 3.0 Club for the spring 2011 semester.

Prep:


Was a stand-out linebacker, tight end, wide receiver and quarterback for coach Devin Rutherford at White Station High School...In his senior campaign he recorded 2,054 passing yards and 21 passing touchdowns while rushing for 1,275 yards and 18 touchdowns, while leading Shelby-Metro in total yards (3,329) and touchdowns (39)...A 2009 All-State 6A first team selection, Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps Top 5 offensive finalist, Tennessee Dream Team selection and TSSAA Class 3A Mr. Football Award winner, becoming the first offensive player in school history to do so...During his time at White Station he broke several records including most rushing touchdowns and rushing yards by a quarterback...Also led the Spartans to a 2009 State Championship over Maryville High School, the first state title in White Station's football history...Participated in the 2009 AutoZone Liberty Bowl High School All-Star Game...Also competed for the Spartans' track and field team, lettering as a 200m sprinter and on the 4 x 100 relay team.
