On special teams had 29 kickoff returns for 525 yards and returned two punts for eight yards during his career ... Member of football coach Justin Fuente's Leadership Council his final three seasons as a Tiger.

2014 (Senior)

Played in all 13 games of his senior season, helping lead the Tigers to an American Athletic Conference title and a Miami Beach Bowl title his final year … Memphis’ American title marked the school’s first conference title since 1971 … Along with a team-high 10 pass breakups notched 41 tackles including 1.5 for lost yardage … Also had an interception during the year … In second game of the year had a career-high nine tackles against then, No. 11 UCLA … First pass breakup of the season came against the Bruins … Had six tackles in road game at Ole Miss … In American Athletic Conference-opening victory at Cincinnati had five tackles and an interception … First tackle against the Bearcats came on the ensuing kickoff following the Tigers’ first touchdown and the hit helped set the tone for the remainder of the game as Memphis held Cincinnati to 272 yards after allowing an 80-yard play on UC’s first drive … Intercepted a pass to end Cincinnati’s second offensive series and set up the Tigers’ second touchdown drive … Equaled a career high with three pass breakups in homecoming win over Tulsa … Went on to have three games with multiple pass breakups … With Memphis leading 10-0 late in the first half, credited with a tackle for an 11-yard loss when Tulane fumbled on a fourth-and-goal play … Had three tackles at Tulane and also broke up two passes … Helped the Tigers secure an American title with five solo tackles and two pass breakups against UConn … Closed out career with four tackles in the Tigers’ Miami Beach Bowl victory over BYU … Second of two 25-yard kickoff returns during the season came in the bowl game … With win over BYU, Memphis notched its second, 10-win season and first since 1938 … Memphis closed out the season with a seven-game winning streak and the team’s seven-win improvement tied for the ninth-best turnaround in FBS football history.

2013 (Junior)

Member of head coach Justin Fuente's Leadership Council junior year after being one of just three sophomores who served on the council in 2012 ... Notched 29 total tackles including one for a three-yard loss during a junior season in which he played all 12 games including three starts ... Of his 29 tackles, 22 were solo stops ... Led the Tigers with eight pass breakups ... Had multi-tackles in nine games during the year and started the 2013 campaign with five tackles against Duke ... The five tackles against the Blue Devils would end up being a season high, equaled in the Tigers' road game at Houston ... Had a 33-yard interception in the Tigers' road game at Middle Tennessee the second game of the season ... Interception and return to the MT 38 set up a 41-yard field goal by Jake Elliott as time expired in the first half ... Had three solo tackles in win over Arkansas State ... In addition to a pair of tackles, had a career-high three pass breakups against UCF ... In addition to multi-tackle games each of the final three games of the season had at least one pass breakup in all three contests ... Closed out the year with four tackles (three solo stops) and had two pass breakups at UConn.

2012 (Sophomore)

Played in all 12 games, starting two contests as a sophomore ... Registered 20 total tackles (12 solo stops) including a tackle for lost yardage ... Also had three pass breakups during the season ... Began the season with a four-tackle game against UT Martin ... Over the course of the Tigers' three-game win streak to end the season had 11 tackles along with three pass breakups ... Registered a career-high seven tackles (six solo stops) in the team's win over Tulane ... Third-down pass breakup late in the first quarter would force the Green Wave to settle for a field goal ... Closed out the season with three tackles against Southern Miss ... Also had four kickoff returns for 95 yards against USM ... Helped set the tone of the Southern Miss game with a pass breakup to force USM to punt on its first offensive series.

2011 (Freshman)

Saw action in nine games ... Made four starts ... Recorded 21 total tackles with 15 solo hits and six assists ... Had 21 kickoff returns for 380 yards (18.1 average) and two punt returns for eight yards ... Made his collegiate debut vs Mississippi State and recorded one solo tackle vs the Bulldogs ... Collected a season-high five total tackles (3-2) vs Arkansas State ... Recorded first collegiate interception vs the Red Wolves ... Also posted season bests for kick returns (5) and kick return yards (99) vs Arkansas State ... Had one punt return for six yards vs the Red Wolves ... Registered two solo hits, one kick return for 12 yards and one punt return for two yards vs Austin Peay ... Missed the SMU game ... Returned to play vs Middle Tennessee and had four kick returns for 65 yards ... Recorded two solo stops and four kick returns for 60 yards vs Rice ... Played for Coach Ted Davidson at Acadiana High School ... Saw most of his time in the secondary ... Logged 68 tackles and seven interceptions in 2010 ... Also registered two defensive touchdowns as a senior ... Selected to the Class 5-A All-State Team by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association as a defensive back following his senior season ... Also credited with a 39-yard pass completion and 15 rushing yards and a TD ... Helped the Rams to an 11-4 record and the 2010 Louisiana state championship with a win over West Monroe ...
