Joined the Memphis program after final classes at Trinity Valley Community College ... Made an immediate impact for the Tigers, seeing playing time in all 12 games and starting 11 contests ... Began career at Memphis by playing every snap in the Tigers' first two games ... Would play 570 of the Tigers' 799 offensive snaps ... Played every snap in four games during the year and accounted for better than 85 percent of the team's snaps in a total of six games ... Member of an offensive line which blocked for a redshirt freshman quarterback who became just the second rookie to pass for over 2,000 yards in a season ... In addition to passing for over 2,000 yards, the offense accounted for over 1,500 rushing yards ... Helped Memphis offense rank fourth in the American Athletic Conference in Red Zone Efficiency, scoring 32 times on 38 chances (84.2 percent) ... Played a career-high 76 snaps against Middle Tennessee ... Was on the field for all 74 snaps of the Tigers' inaugural American Athletic Conference game against UCF ...
