2014 (Senior)

Member of Memphis team which won its first conference title since 1971 and recorded the program's second, 10-win season ... The 2014 season marked Memphis' first, 10-win season since 1938 ... Memphis closed out the year with a seven-game winning streak ... Memphis finished the year ranked 11th nationally in scoring defense (19.5 ppg) and third in red zone defense, allowing opponents to convert on just 68.8 percent of drives inside the 20 ... Notched 22 total tackles including four for lost yardage (-12 yards) and a quarterback sack ... broke up two passes while forcing a fumble and recovering another ... Would miss the first two games of the season before seeing first action in the tigers' win over Middle Tennessee ... Had three tackles against the Blue Raiders ... Following week had two tackles including one for lost yardage at Ole Miss ... First start came in the Tigers' conference home opener against Houston and had three tackles including one for lost yardage and broke up a pass ... Helped the Tigers begin a seven-game win streak to end the season with a three-tackle performance at SMU ... With the Tigers leading 10-0 at Tulane, recovered a fumble at midfield to help set up a Memphis touchdown drive to extend the team's lead to 17-0 in the third quarter ... Fumble recovery against the Green Wave set up the first touchdown of a 28 point half as the Tigers posted a 38-7 win ... Two tackles for lost yardage including a quarterback sack were part of a season-high, four-tackle effort against USF ... Finished career with a three-tackle game against BYU

2013 (Junior)

With 60 total stops during junior season, ranked fourth on the squad in tackles for first year in the Memphis program ... Had 40 solo hits including three tackles for lost yardage ... Also forced two fumbles and broke up a pass during the year ... Began his Memphis career with a four-tackle game against Duke ... Had three unassisted tackles the following week at Middle Tennessee ... Helped spark a Tiger comeback which fell just short in a 34-29 loss to SMU ... Against the Mustangs, became the first NCAA FBS player since 2004 to recover two fumbles and return both for touchdowns ... The feat had been equaled three times previously by FBS players ... Late in the third quarter, took the ball out of the hands of an SMU rusher and returned the ball 15 yards for a touchdown, the Tigers' first of the game ... Early in the fourth quarter, he returned a fumbled punt return 19 yards for a second score ... The back-to-back defensive and special teams' touchdowns allowed Memphis to slice into SMU's lead as the Tigers went from trailing 34-3 to 34-16 with 9:40 to play ... For his efforts which also included four tackles in the game, was named the National Linebacker and the National Defensive Performer of the week by the College Performance Awards ... Was also named to the American Athletic Conference's five-player Honor Roll for the week ... In the Tigers' next game, established a career high with eight tackles against Cincinnati ... Also had eight tackles, including a career-best six solo stops along with a tackle for loss, at Louisville ... Over the last three weeks of the season, had 23 total tackles ... Also had eight tackles and broke up a pass in the final game of the year at Connecticut.

2012 (Sophomore - Riverside Community College)

Played sophomore season at Riverside Community College where he posted 53 total tackles including 34 solo stops ... His 53 tackles and 34 solo stops both ranked in the Top 20 among California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) players ... Had 3.5 tackles for lost yards (nine yards) ... Intercepted a pass, returning the ball 14 yards and also had five pass breakups during the year ... After a seven-tackle performance including one for loss and two pass breakups against Saddleback, had a season-high 10 tackles in win over LA Harbor ... With Riverside trailing 12-0, picked off a pass, returning the ball 14 yards for a touchdown at Citrus early in the third quarter to help spark a 21-18 comeback win ... Had nine total tackles against Citrus including one for lost yardage to go along with two pass breakups ... During the year had at least five tackles in six games ... Helped Riverside Community College to a 9-2 record ... Played for head coach Tom Craft at Riverside Community College.

2011 (Freshman - Idaho State)

Totaled 44 tackles including 22 solo stops to go along with four tackles for loss (13 yards) and a quarterback sack (10 yards) during redshirt freshman season at Idaho State ... Returned an interception 94 yards against Northern Colorado for a touchdown ... Had four tackles including two for loss (12 yards) and a quarterback sack at Northern Arizona ... Had seven tackles and recovered a fumble against Portland State ... Also had a seven-tackle effort against Eastern Washington ... Recorded pass breakups against Western State, Montana and Eastern Washington ... Redshirted at Idaho State in 2010.

Graduated from Carter High School in 2010 with honors ... Four-year letter winner in football and also lettered in track for two years ... Named All-League in 2008 and again in 2009 as a senior ... Named All-CIF in 2009 ... Led Carter in tackles senior year with 104 stops ... Set a school record with three pass interceptions against Fontana ...
