Career (Memphis/Miami)


Saw action on both sides of the ball at Memphis ... Played in 30 career games for the Blue and Gray, starting 21 contests in the secondary for the Tigers' defense over the final two years of his career ... Also made two starts at quarterback ... On the defensive side, registered 101 total tackles with 53 solo stops and 48 assists ... Also had eight pass breakups, forced a fumble and recovered two others during career ... Offensively, saw action under center in eight contest ... Was 23-of-44 passing for 248 yards and one touchdown ... Played in the 2013 Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game as well as the inaugural Raycom College Football All-Star Classic ... Transferred to the University of Memphis from Miami, Fla., in 2009.

In Memphis' first victory of the season, pass breakup on third down in the red zone helped limit Rice to a second-quarter field goal ... Had a season-high nine tackles against East Carolina ... Followed up ECU game with seven total stops against UCF ... Tallied eight total tackles including a season-high five solo stops in Marshall game ... Helped limit Tulane's offense to 291 yards of total offense, finishing with three tackles in a victory which began a three-game Tiger win streak to end the season ... In addition to three tackles, closed out his collegiate career with a big pass breakup against Southern Miss with the Tigers leading 7-3 early in the second quarter of the season finale.

Logged first college start on defense in the season opener vs Mississippi State ... Credited with first collegiate tackles with five total stops (3-2) vs the Bulldogs ... Played in seven games at quarterback, starting two ... Was 22-of-43 passing for 246 yards with one TD and three interceptions ... Also credited with 19 rushes for one yard and one TD ... Started the season opener under center at Mississippi State ... Was 11-of-15 passing for 111 yards and one TD vs the Bulldogs ... Had a solid spring practice, before suffering a hand injury that required surgery ... Continued to practice during non-contact work despite a cast on his hand.

Transferred to Memphis from Miami, Fla. in the fall of 2009 ... Practice with the team, but was ineligible to play because of NCAA transfer guidelines.
