Tiger Lane Block Party

The Tiger Lane Block Party will begin at 5 p.m. and will continue until kickoff of the Blue-Gray Game. The event will include appearances by TOM III, Pouncer and the Memphis Spirit Squads. The Memphis football team is expected to arrive at 6 p.m. for Tiger Walk.

Additionally, there will be inflatables for children, a photo booth and a live radio remote during the block party. Season tickets as well as Tiger merchandise will be available during the block party near the fountain located outside of the Liberty Bowl. Plus fans can sign up for suite tours.

The Game

For the first time since Justin Fuente was named head coach, the Tigers are slated to hold a four-quarter game which will feature equally drafted teams.

Kids ages 6-12 will have an opportunity to take the field with the Tigers prior to the game. Parents are asked to bring their children, ages 6-12, to the top of the stadium's south tunnel at 6:30 p.m. to participate in the spring game spirit tunnel.

Throughout the game there will be interviews and player features played on the Liberty Bowl's scoreboards.

Season Tickets & Suite Sales

Season ticket holders who renew onsite prior to the game will receive exclusive field access in the north end zone during the game while new season ticket purchasers who buy packages of $500 or more will receive a football signed by Memphis head coach Justin Fuente while supplies last.

Fans interested in the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium suites can setup a tour in advance by contacting Stephen Green at smgreen2@memphis.edu or call (901) 678-3306.

Postgame

Following the game, there will be an autograph session and photo opportunity for fans with the team on the field.

Also, the Highland Hundred, the University of Memphis football program's official booster group, will feed the team a barbeque dinner. The meal will culminate the Highland Hundred's Barbeque Cookoff contest.

Highland Hundred Barbeque Cookoff Contest

The Highland Hundred Barbeque Cookoff will not be an ordinary cooking contest. Cooks will have a chance to show off their skills and vie for awards prior to the Highland Hundred feeding the team a rib and fixings dinner cooked by the contest participants.

Anyone interested in entering a team in the contest can contact Chris Kelly at treasurer@highlandhundred.com, call (901) 834-1845 or go online to www.highlandhundred.org.

Relay for Life

This year marks the first time the spring game has been held in conjunction with the University of Memphis Relay for Life event which will take place on Tiger Lane from 4 p.m. April 11 to 4 the following morning. The relay will move into the Liberty Bowl during the game with one representative from each relay team walking inside the stadium during the game.
