Departed Memphis Tigers Jordan Devey, Akeem Davis, Marcus Rucker and Robert Steeples have all agreed to NFL free agent terms with teams. Devey (Baltimore Ravens), Davis (Seattle Seahawks), Rucker (Chicago Bears) and Steeples (St. Louis Rams) all agreed to terms in the hours following the NFL Draft Saturday night.

Devey, a two-year starter at Memphis who played every snap during his career, started at left guard for the East team at the 2013 East-West Shrine Game and went on to accept an invitation to attend the NFL combine earlier this year.

At Memphis, Devey received the DeAngelo Williams Most Valuable Player Award at the conclusion of his senior season. He was named to the All-Conference USA Second Team as selected by the league's head coaches as a senior.

For his career, Davis recorded 162 total tackles and had 13 tackles for loss (-58 yards). He also had three interceptions, nine pass breakups, five forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries during his career.

Davis was named the inaugural winner of the Lee Roy Selmon Community Spirit Award which was announced Jan. 19, 2013 in Tampa, Fla. He was one of 10 finalists for the ARA Sportsmanship Award and a semifinalist for the Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup.

Rucker played in 44 career games, making 26 starts as a Tiger. During his four-year career with the Tigers, hemade 126 receptions for 1,665 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Rucker finished his career ranked fifth in receptions, sixth in receptions and tied for seventh in touchdowns. He averaged 13.2 yards per reception and had two, 100-yard receiving games during his career. Following collegiate career, he played in the 2013 Casino Del Sol College Football All-Star Classic.



Steeples, a native of St. Louis, agreed to terms with his hometown team after a senior year at Memphis in which he tallied 42 total tackles. Steeples joined the Memphis program after playing for and graduating from the University of Memphis.

During his combined career playing for two Tiger teams he made 83 total tackles with 47 solo hits and 36 assists. He had 14 career pass breakups and 4.5 tackles for lost yards (12 yards).

Steeples played in the 2013 Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game in Tucson, Ariz. (Jan. 11, 2013).
