Mark Your Calendar --- Tiger Football FanFest Slated For August 22
July 23, 2010 MEMPHIS, TENN. - Fans will have their first opportunity to meet and greet the 2010 Tiger Football team and staff at Football FanFest on Sunday, Aug. 22, from 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. The event will be held on the University of Memphis campus, incorporating the Elma Roane Fieldhouse and Memorial Field, which are located on Zach Curlin Ave. The event is being held on campus due to the construction of the new football weight room at the Murphy Athletic Complex and the Tiger Lane project at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. Inflatable games, cold drinks, merchandise, free posters, schedule cards, and other promotional items will be available on Memorial Field and the surrounding track area adjacent to the Elma Roane Fieldhouse beginning at 3 pm. The football team will arrive at approximately 3:30 p.m., and fans may meet the players and coaching staff inside the Fieldhouse main gym for autographs and photos. TOM III, Pouncer, the Mighty Sound of the South band, and the Tiger Spirit squads will all be in attendance for the festivities. Additional details and a full map of the event will be released at a later date. The 2010 Highland Hundred Kick-Off Banquet is slated for Friday, Aug. 6, at the Hilton Hotel at 939 Ridge Lake Boulevard. Social hour is from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m., with a dinner and the program to follow. Admission is $40 per person and is open to the public.The Tigers officially report to camp on Aug. 8, and will have their first practice the following morning.
Season tickets, as well as individual away game tickets, are on sale now for the 2010 season. Season tickets for the six home contests are $200 in the prime seats and $100 in the fun zone. Away ticket prices are as follows: Mississippi State ($40), East Carolina ($40), UTEP ($25), Louisville ($47), Marshall ($32) and UAB ($30).
