Conference USA Football Preseason Awards Release

University of Memphis senior offensive lineman Jordan Devey has been selected to the Conference USA Football Coaches Preseason First Team.

Devey, a rising senior from American Fork, Utah, started all 12 games and worked every offensive play (786 snaps) last year as a junior. A transfer from Snow College, Devey started five games at right tackle, one at right guard and six at left tackle. He worked 60 or more snaps eight times during the season including the last three games of the year.

The 2012 C-USA Football Coaches Preseason Awards were released on Monday ahead of this week's Conference USA Football Media Kickoff in Dallas. First-year Memphis head coach Justin Fuente and Tiger senior Akeem Davis will attend the event slated for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Tigers report to camp in less than two weeks. The U of M opens the season Sept. 1 when the Tigers play host to UT-Martin in Liberty Stadium. Season tickets are available for purchase by CLICKING HERE
