Tiger Nation will have an opportunity to rev up its anticipation for the 2012 football season and meet the Tigers on Saturday, Aug. 25th, during FanFest 2012. This year's event will be held from 12-2 p.m. in the heart of the University campus.

Activities during the afternoon event will center at Memorial Field located north of the Elma Roane Fieldhouse. Members of the Tiger football team will sign autographs in the Mike Rose Theater which is located just west of Memorial Field.

Young fans will have an opportunity to play games and enjoy the inflatables which will be located on the grounds at Memorial Field. Season tickets will be on sale at the event with the price for six home games starting at $55. In addition to purchasing season tickets, fans can receive more information about the Highland Hundred as well as sign up children for Pouncer's Pals. Free soft drinks and water will be available at drink stations on the field, while supplies last.

Also occurring on campus during FanFest and throughout the day is the Memphis Invitational, one of the Tiger volleyball team's early-season, home tournaments. The Tigers will play host to Arkansas-Little Rock at 12 p.m. and will later play host to Eastern Michigan at 5 p.m. Admission to the matches is free.

Parking for fans will be available for free in the Zach Curlin Parking Garage as well as Parking Lot 5 located across Zach Curlin Street from Memorial Field. Zach Curlin Street is located on the east side of the University of Memphis campus and is accessible from Central Avenue.

The University of Memphis opens the 2012 football season on Sept. 1 when the Tigers play host to UT Martin in Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium.
