MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis senior cornerback Reginald Howard, who underwent surgery on October 11th to reduce and stabilize his subluxed sixth cervical vertebra, was released from Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis on Thursday. The surgery, performed by Dr. Allen Sills of the Semmes-Murphey Clinic, was successful and Howard suffered no loss of neurological function.

If his recovery continues at its current pace, Howard is expected to attend this weekend's Memphis vs. Louisville football game and serve as a game captain.
