The University of Memphis athletic department and Tiger Sports Properties would like to extend a generous "thank you" to title sponsor First Tennessee and all of the 2007 participating sponsors for making First Tennessee Tiger Town a success in its debut season.
Before each Tiger home football game, First Tennessee, Chuck Hutton Auto Group, Memphis Music, Champion Awards, Ashley Furniture, Cellular South, and the Tennessee Army National Guard, set up interactive booths and displays packed with excitement and giveaways for all Tiger fans. Saturn, the US Army, Pizza Hut, parkit Here, Firehouse Subs, the GMAC Bowl, ParMasters, Allstate, and Bass Pro Shops, also had a presence in First Tennessee Tiger Town throughout the season.
First Tennessee Tiger Town was located south of Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, just east of the Highland Hundred lot, making it a convenient spot for Tiger fans to participate in the gameday excitement and to enjoy music from a live band. Each week, fans could register to win suite tickets and a stadium blanket from First Tennessee, the chance to be Chuck Hutton's "Captain of the Game," an iPod from Cellular South, a gift card from Ashley Furniture, and other prizes while participating in games and challenges.
Tiger Sports Properties and all of its sponsors are working on new ideas and ways to make First Tennessee Tiger Town bigger and better for next football season. Thanks to all Tiger fans who visited the area and made it a fixture on game days!
Go Tigers!
