Spring 2009- A Co-Captain of the team, Benjamin was one of only three Tigers to compete in all seven events in the Spring, holding a scoring average of 74.4, the second lowest on the team...Posted two top-20 finishes and narrowly missed out on a third...Finished in a tie for 21st at the Louisiana Classics where he carded rounds of 77-71-71...Had a 14th place showing at the Florida Atlantic Spring Break Championship where he fired rounds of 75-73-70...Was on of three Tigers to finish in the top-20 at the Conference USA Championship, where rounds of 72-69-73 earned him a ninth place finish in his final collegiate event.

2008 Fall- Shot rounds of 76-72 to finish 13th at the Memphis Intercollegiate...Showed consistency by firing rounds of 72-71-71 to finish tied for 28h at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate...Held a scoring average of 73.3 in the fall, the second lowest on the team.

2007-08 • Junior

2007 Fall- Opened the fall of 2007 by qualifying for the St. Mary's Invitational which was hosted at Poppy Hills Golf Club in Pebble Beach , California ... Carded a three round total of 232 in the St. Mary's event ... Played as an individual in the rain-shortened Memphis Intercollegiate before closing the fall season with a tie for 43rd in the UNCG Bridgestone Collegiate Championship ... Had rounds of 77-73-74 in the UNCG tournament ... Had an average of 76.8 strokes per round in the fall of 2007.

2008 Spring- Played in all 9 competitions in the fall shooting a low of 69 in the Rice Intercollegiate...Placed in the Top 20 twice, including a tie for fourth at the Rice Intercollegiate...Finished tied for 11th at the River Landing Intercollegiate after rounds of 72-73-71....Carried a scoring average of 76.75 and had two top-20 finishes... 2006-07 • Sophomore

2006 Fall- Saw his first action of the year at the Memphis Intercollegiate where he turned in a 222 (74-78-70) and tied with teammate Lewis Clarke for 34th place ... Tied for 27th and finished just two strokes out of the top-20 by carding a 231 (74-77-80) at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate ... Recorded a 225 (74-79-72) at the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate and was two strokes behind the top-20 and tied for 27th for the second consecutive week ... Picked up his first top-ten finish of the year in the final tournament of the fall when he fired a 223 (72-75-76) to claim eighth place at the Landfall Tradition.

2007 Spring- Missed the first three events of the spring of 2007 while battling teammates in order to qualify ... Did not return to competition until the end of March and placed in a tie for 34th in the South Alabama Spring Golf Classic ... Had rounds of 79-72-72 in the USA event ... Won medalist honors at the Palisades Collegiate Classic as he fired a 207 (70-69-68) for his first collegiate win ... Tied for 16th at the Conference USA Championships with a score of 222 (69-76-77) ... Closed out the spring of 2007 by qualifying for the Linger Longer Invitational at Reynolds Plantation Course where he posted three rounds in the 70s ... Carried a 73.5 scoring average in the spring of 2007.

2005-06 • Freshman

2005 Fall- Played in the Landfall Tradition, the final tournament of the fall ... Shot rounds of 83-77-77 in his collegiate debut for an average of 79 as he placed 53rd.

2006 Spring- Led the Tigers to a fourth-place finish and finished third with a 209 (67-73-69) at the Conference USA Championship.

2006 Summer- Had a successful summer highlighted by a win at the Greater Rockford Men's Open ... Took third place at the Illinois State Amateur Championship with a 286 (72-74-70) ... Tied for 15th place at the 2006 Western Junior by turning in a 292 (71-74-73-74).

Prior to Memphis

Prep- Was ranked the No. 1 junior in Illinois by Junior Golf Scoreboard and was ranked as high as No. 40 in the Golfweek junior amateur rankings ... Finished second at the 2004 Illinois State High School Championship ... Finished in the top 15 in all five American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events that he entered in 2004 ... Those included second place at the AJGA Columbus Junior, sixth at the AJGA Midwest Junior Championship, and 10th at the AJGA Windy City Junior ... Came in second at a 2004 U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifier.
