Round Two Results Get Acrobat Reader

MOBILE, Ala.-- The University of Memphis golf team has gained sole possession of second place in the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate after posting a team score of 291 for the second straight round. The Tigers are only six strokes back of Ole Miss heading into Tuesday's final round.

Jeff Hall paced Memphis again, posting a second consecutive 72 to remain at even-par and tied for ninth. Jonathan Fly also posted an even-par 72 in round two to earn a share of 12th place. Jack Belote turned in a three-over-par 75 in round two, putting him in a tie for 21st.

Steve Lee recovered nicely in round two by posting an even-par 72 after struggling to an opening round 81. Lee is in a tie for 63rd position. Parker Rush, who fired a career-low 74 in the first round, carded an 80 in round two and is in a tie for 68th.

Ole Miss fired a three-under-par team total of 285 in round two to grab the lead heading into the final round. Vanderbilt (290-295), Louisville (299-286), and Iowa State (296-289) are all tied for third in the team standings.

Kent Bulle (MTSU) posted an even-par 72 in the second round to maintain his advantage. Bulle is currently five-under-par for the tournament. Nate McCoy (Iowa State), Jeff Kellen (Illinois State), and Joe David (Ole Miss) are all two strokes back in second.

The Mobile Bay Intercollegiate concludes Tuesday with the playing of the third and final round.
