Memphis Is Tied For 12th at Furman Intercollegiate

Greenville, SC - Led by sophomore Alan Weant, the University of Memphis Tiger golf team is tied for 12th after two rounds of the Furman Intercollegiate. Furman University and Coastal Carolina are tied for first in team competition with scores of 583. Memphis is in at 607. Brendon De Jorge of Virginia Tech holds the individual lead with a four under par score of 140. The Tigers' Weant is tied for 13th with a two day score of 147, while freshman teammate Richard Jones is one stroke behind Weant at 148. He is currently tied for 20th. The final round action is slated for Sunday morning.
