Play Suspended for @MemphisMGolf During First Round of NCAA Regional

RALEIGH, N.C. – Play was halted for the day during the first round of the NCAA Regional Tournament. Round one action is expected to continue with a shotgun start Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. with players continuing from where their last shot finished. Players will start round two after a 30 minute break following completion of round one.

The University of Memphis men’s golf team currently sits at 3-over-par through 10-12 holes. Georgia Tech leads the 13-team field with a score of 14-under-par, followed by Washington at 10-under. Only 10 strokes separates third place South Alabama (-5) from 12th place Mercer (+5).

Teams will maintain the same pairings from the first round into the second round on Friday, with the Tigers shooting with Minnesota and Rice.
