Lexus Keoninh continued his strong play on day two of the Golfweek Conference Challenge, firing a second-round even-par 72 to lead the Tigers. Keoninh's second round performance puts him at two-over-par for the championship and in a tie for 23rd, nine strokes back of individual leader Brad Hopfinger of Iowa, whose second-round course record 67 vaulted him to the top of the leader board.

Fly, who led the Tigers with an even-par round of 72 on day one, turned in a second round 76. With a two-day total of 148 (+4), Fly is currently in a tie for 33rd position. Senior Brandon Bunn had another up-and-down round, making four birdies and four bogeys on his way to a two-over-par 74. Bunn's opening rounds of 75-74 put him in a tie for 40th heading into the final round. Both Jack Belote and Philip Breeding showed improvement on day two, turning in rounds of 77 and 79, respectively.

Memphis turned in a team score of 299 in round two, giving them a two-day total of 601 (+25). The Tigers currently sit in 14th place going into the final round of competition.

After shooting an even-par 288 in the first round, Iowa was able to take advantage of calm conditions to shoota team total of 280 in the second round, putting them at eight-under-par for the event and giving them a four shot lead over second-place Florida State. First round leader Baylor is seven strokes back after posting a two-day team total of 575.

Brad Hopfinger fired a course record 67 at the Blue Top Ridge Course Monday to grab the individual lead. His two-day total of 137 puts him two strokes ahead of a trio of goflers tied for second. Hudson Johnson of Vanderbilt, Jason Millard of Middle Tennessee, and Drew Kittleson of Florida State are all tied for second after posting totals of 139 through two rounds of competition.

The Golfweek Conference Challenge concludes tomorrow, September 1st with the completion of the third round. Teams will tee off at 9 a.m. (CT) following a shotgun format. Keep up with the action as it unfolds via www.golfstat.com.
