The University of Memphis Tiger golf team battled windy and cool conditions and turned in scores of 298-308. The Tigers are currently in second place going into the final round of the BlueDemon Invitational which is being played at Prairie Landing Golf Club in St. Charles, Illinois.

DePaul leads the team competition with a 36-hole total of 602. Eastern Illinois is in third place at 607, one stroke behind Memphis. Conference USA members Marquette and Saint Louis are tied for fourth at 610.

Kyle Maxwell of Eastern Illinois leads all individuals after carding a second round score of 69 to go with his opening total of 76. Memphis' sophomore Allan Thomas is in third place after posting rounds of 72-75--147. Tiger junior Alan Weant is tied for sixth with a 149 and Richard Jones is tied for 13th at 153.

Final round action is slated for 8 AM Tuesday.
