Jacksonville State finished in second place with a team total of 872, six shots ahead of third-place finisher Austin Peay State University. Florida Southern, 879, and Middle Tennessee State, 882, rounded out the fields top five teams. The University of Memphis, which was tied for fifth place after two rounds slipped three spots to eighth after turning in a third-round team score of 295.
Derek Brown of UNC Wilmington posted a final round score of one-under par 71 and finished this year's tournament at seven-under par 209. Tim Yelverton of Southern Miss and Gareth Maybin of South Alabama tied for second at four-under par 212. U of M senior Chris Reinke tied for ninth with a three-round total of 217. True freshman Richard Jones was the only other Tiger to place in the Top 20 with a final score of 218 which tied him for 13th.
