ZIONSVILLE, Ind.- The University of Memphis men's golf team's second round rally went for naught as the Tigers regressed in the third round and shot 924 (305-296-323) to put themselves in tenth place at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate. Junior Ian Rochester, a native of Cordova, Tenn., led the way with his second top-20 appearance of the fall. Rochester was a bright spot for the Tigers on Sunday. Rochester's total of 77 in the final round followed scores of 76 and 70 on Saturday to put him in a tie for 13th at 223, three strokes behind the top-10. Sophomore Brad Benjamin missed joining Rochester in the top-20 by two strokes. His three-round total of 231 (76-70-77) put Benjamin in a tie for 27th. Senior Lewis Clarke improved slightly from Saturday's second round. The Exeter, England, native shot an 80 in the final round to back up rounds of 78 and 81 on the first day. Clarke's total of 239 placed him with junior Robbie Greenwell. Greenwell's 239 came after the Georgetown, Ontario native turned in rounds of 77, 76 and 86 over the weekend. Freshman Brandon Bunn rounded out the Tiger lineup by totaling a 246 (82-73-91). Bunn will look to regain the form that made him the Tigers' lowest finisher at the Memphis Intercollegiate before his next event.
