Men's Golf in First Place at CSU Spring Kick Off

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The University of Memphis men's golf team is in first place after 36 holes of the Charleston Southern Spring Kickoff. Senior Ian Rochester leads the field after shooting a 10 under-par 132 (65, 67) on day one. Memphis leads Kennesaw State by a single stroke and has a three shot lead over Nova Southeastern. Rochester has an eight shot cushion over J.P. Putnam of Kennesaw State, currently in second place. Memphis sophomore Brandon Bunn sits in 11th with a 36-hole total of 146. Sophomore Jeff Hall is tied for 17th after shooting a 147 and junior Brad Benjamin and sophomore Mark Trow are currently tied for 27th with a 150. The Tigers will complete play at the CSU Spring Kick Off on Tuesday.
