MEMPHIS -- After posting its lowest team score of the season (284) in the final round of its last tournament, the University of Memphis golf team will look to build on that momentum in the 26th Annual Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, La on Mar. 7-8.

Jonathan Fly looks to continue his strong play after turning in a three-under-par 69 in the last round of the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate. Fly finished sixth individually while leading the Tigers to a sixth-place finish.

Memphis finished fifth last season in the 25th Annual Louisiana Classics and were paced by Steve Lee's seventh-place individual finish.

The 26th Annual Louisiana Classics will be held at Oakbourne Country Club and features a 15-team field: Louisiana, LSU, Illinois, UAB, Kent State, Southern Miss, Southeastern, SMU, Kansas, Memphis, Houston, UALR, Tulsa, Texas State and South Alabama.

36 holes will be played Monday followed by 18 Tuesday. A shotgun start has been tentatively scheduled for 7:30 a.m. both days, and live scoring for the event will be available via www.golfstat.com.
