Greensboro, Ga. - Senior Robbie Greenwell shot an even-par 72 on Sunday to capture medalist honors at the Linger Longer Invitational. It is the second consecutive tournament in which Memphis has played that a Tiger has won the individual competition.

Greenwell shot a 208 68-68-72 to finish eight-under-par and three strokes ahead of Joel Sjoholm of Georgia State who finished second. The win was Greenwell's first on the collegiate level.

Sophomore Brad Benjamin fired a 222 (75-74-73) to finish tied for 25th and senior Ian Rochester shot a 223 (75-74-74) to finish tied for 30th. Sophomore Brandon Bunn shot a 229 (79-74-76) and sophomore Mark Trow shot 236 (78-82-76).

Memphis shot an 881 as a team for the tournament to finish fifth. The University of Mississippi won the team competition shooting an 856. The Rebels finished five strokes ahead of the University of Georgia who finished second.

The Tigers will return to action when they compete in the South Alabama Spring Invitational March 24-25.
