IRVING, Texas - Senior men's golfer Robbie Greenwell earned Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week honors for the week of March 12-18 after capturing medalist honors at the Linger Longer Invitational.

Greenwell shot four-under-par rounds of 68 on Friday and Saturday and followed with an even-par 72 on Sunday to finish eight-under-par for the tournament and hold off Joel Sjoholm of Georgia State who finished second at five-under.

This is the second consecutive tournament in which Memphis has played that a Tiger has won the individual competition. Ian Rochester received Golfer of the Week honors after his victory at the Charleston Southern Spring Invitational two weeks ago.

This is the first win of Greenwell's career as well as his first weekly ward from the conference. Greenwell and the Tigers will be back in action on March 24-25 when they head to Mobile Ala. to compete in the South Alabama Spring Classic.
