MEMPHIS - The University of Memphis men's golf team returns to action April 7-8 when they head to Madison, Mississippi to compete in the Bank of America Intercollegiate at the Reunion Golf and Country Club. The tournament will be hosted by the University of Mississippi.

The Tigers have been a roll this spring, finishing in the top five in four of the five events they have entered and winning the Charleston Southern Spring Invitational in March. Seniors Ian Rochester and Robbie Greenwell have each won Golfer of the Week awards awarded by the conference.

Joining the Tigers in Mississippi will be UAB, Jackson State, LSU, Louisiana Tech, Mercer, Mississippi State, UNC-Greensboro, North Florida, Ole Miss, South Alabama, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee-Chattanooga, and Vanderbilt.

Tigers qualifying for the Bank of America Intercollegiate are seniors Greenwell, Rochester and Kyle Ritchie, junior Brad Benjamin and sophomore Brandon Bunn.

The tournament is scheduled for 54 holes, with 36 to be played on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Live stats will be available on www.golfstat.com.

Memphis is currently ranked 59th in the country according to Golfweek Magazine.
