MEMPHIS, Tenn. - University of Memphis men's golf coach Grant Robbins announced today the completion of his 2006-07 recruiting class with the signing of Wales native Mark Trow.

Trow is currently the top ranked junior in Wales and was selected to the Welsh National Amateur Team in 2006. He reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 Spanish Amateur and won the 2005 Welsh Golfing Union Junior Order of Merit. Selected to the Great Britain and Ireland team that competed in the 2005 R&A Leglise Trophy Matches, Trow won two matches in the event. He finished fifth in the 2005 European Boys Championship and advanced to the round of 16 in the 2005 British Boys Championship. Trow is a member of the Welsh team that competed in the 2005 European Boys Team Championship in Italy. He finished in the top 20 in the stroke play portion with scores of 74-71.

The fifth 2006-07 Memphis golf signee, Trow will join Philip Bredding of Morristown, Tenn., Brandon Bunn of Knoxville, Tenn., Hugo Lauzon of St. Jeroem, Quebec and Kyle Peterman of Sherman, Ill., on the Tigers' squad in the fall.
