Brad Benjamin was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America District IV Second-Team as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Benjamin, a native of Rockford, Ill., graduated from the University of Memphis in May 2009, with a degree in Business Finance. He maintained a GPA of 3.9 throughout his undergraduate coursework, all the while being a key contributor to the Tiger golf team. Benjamin was also named to the 2009 C-USA Men's Golf All-Academic Team for the second consecutive year.

This past season, Benjamin competed in all 11 events for the Tiger golf squad, holding a 74.4 scoring average. During his career at Memphis, Benjamin posted 10 top-20 finishes, including taking medalist honors at the 2007 Palisades Collegiate Classic.
