Hello American Athletic Conference, We Are Memphis:

On July 1, the University of Memphis officially became a member of the American Athletic Conference. Beginning July 8, GoTigersGo.com brings a daily introduction of each sport at the University of Memphis to the American Athletic Conference. Sport Academic Awards

Memphis earned two Conference USA Sport Academic Awards. In 2012, the Tigers earned the distinction with a 3.402 grade-point average.

Conference Championships

The Tigers have won five conference championships. Memphis picked up its first as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference in 1967 and won two titles as a member of the Metro Conference (1976/1988). In 1992, Memphis won the Great Midwest Conference championship and the 2012 squad earned the Conference USA title.

All-Academic Team Selections

Memphis placed at least one golfer on the Conference USA All-Academic Team in six of the last seven years.  
Brad Benjamin was named to the All-Academic team from 2007-09.

NCAA Tournament Appearances

The Tigers have appeared in the NCAA Tournament on 10 occasions. Memphis was an NCAA Tournament team in 1954, 1955, 1964, 1967, 1970 and 1988. The 2008 squad ended a 20-year drought and now the Tigers have appeared in the tournament three-straight years (2011-13).
Junior Will Pearson led the Tigers at the 2013 NCAA West Regional by tying for 20th. 

All-Conference Selections

Memphis has placed 71 golfers on all-conference teams since 1967
Jonathan Fly was a three-time All-Conference USA First Team selection from 2010-12

Frank L. Flautt Golf Center

In 2009, Memphis Men's Golf moved to the state of the art Frank L. Flautt Golf Center.
