MISSISSAUGA, Ontario- University of Memphis junior golfer Robbie Greenwell fired a 5-over-par 76 at Mississauga Golf and Country Club on Sunday in the first round of the Canadian Men's Amateur Tournament. The Georgetown, Ontario native qualified for the national tournament after finishing second at his home province's amateur tournament last month.

Greenwell will look to improve on that score and advance to the match play portion of the tournament after the second round of stroke play today. The lowest 64 scores will advance to match play. At the start of round two, Greenwell was sitting in a tied for 80th, but only one stroke behind a group of players tied for 65th.

The next two weeks will be extremely busy for Greenwell. After the Canadian Men's Amateur wraps up, Greenwell will travel to Chaska, Minn., for the U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine National Golf Club, Aug. 21-27.
