MISSISSAUGA, Ontario- University of Memphis golfer Robbie Greenwell advanced to the match play portion of competition at the Canadian Men's Amateur on Monday. The Georgetown, Ontario, native shot a 5-over-par 76 in Sunday's first round, but a second round even par 71 put Greenwell in a tie for 49th and secured a berth in match play.

First up for Greenwell is a match today against 13th-seeded Michael McKenzie. Greenwell, the 52nd overall seed, will look to record an upset and advance to the second round matches tomorrow.

Greenwell will follow-up his Canadian Men's Amateur appearance with an appearance at the U.S. Amateur next week.
