Round three of the Memphis Intercollegiate was cancelled due to inclement weather. Scores and results will revert back to yesterday. The tournament was played at the par-72 7,334-yard Colonial Country Club.

Senior Jordan Payne led the tigers, carding a two-day total of 145 (73-72) and finishing in a tie for fifth. Fellow senior Brad Benjamin had a strong second round to post 148 (76-72) and get into a tie for 13th. He is followed by freshman Jack Belote whose 149 (74-75) left him in a tied for 20th. Jeff Hall carded a 155 (76-79) and is in 55th. Mark Trow rounds out the top-5 after shooting 156 (83-73) and finishing in 58th.

The Tigers shot a two-day total of 591 (299-292) and finished second in the event. This is the fourth time the Tigers have finished in the top-5 in the last five years.

Ohio State won the competition after firing a two-day total of 588 (299-289). Mississippi State finished third, three shots behind the Tigers at 594 (301-293). Vaughn Snyder won the indivudal competition, carding a two-round total of 138 (68-70).

The Tigers will return to action on October 13 when they travel to Birmingham, Ala. to compete in the Jerry Pate Invitational.
