Prior to Memphis-- A three-time letterwinner in soccer at Klein High School in Spring, Texas ... Earned second team all-district honors and helped his team to a 32-1 record in his junior season ... Was part of the 2005 state championship team and 2004 regional semifinalist team ... Saw success at the club level as his teams claimed state championships each year from 2003-2005 and the Region III championship in 2004 ... Graduated in the top quarter of his high school class and was a member of the National Honor Society.
