Ennis played his high school ball at Verona Area H.S., where he was voted team captain both his junior and senior seasons. He was a four-year letterman and was elected first team all-conference his junior and senior seasons. With his club team, U.A. Waves, Ennis travelled to several blue-chip tournaments and camps, including the 1998 NCAA Final Four Weekend. He also was a two-year letterman in wrestling.

“Nelson is another left-footed player that will give us depth on the left side,” says Grant. “We expect him to develop while he contributes this season.”
