Memphis Athletics Has 60 Student-Athletes Earn C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal Honor

For seventh-straight year, Memphis is among league's top-two schools in medal recipients.

2011 (Sophomore): Played in 10 contests at forward ... Scored one goal, an equalizer in the 88th minute against UIC ... Attempted three shots, placing two on frame.

2010 (Freshman): Made six starts at midfield and forward ... Started the season opener against Belmont, netting a goal ... Joined teammate Liam Collins as the first newcomers to score in their collegiate debuts since Jamie Gilbert and Kevin Walsh in 2006 ... Netted a goal against North Florida, one of five Tigers to score on the Ospreys ... Started the final two games, which the Tigers won by a combined score of 10-0.

Prior to Memphis: Played varsity soccer for Jenks High School ...Coached in high school by John Timmons ... Lettered four seasons ... Earned all-state honors as a junior in the state of Oklahoma ...
