White will be counted on to provide leadership in the Tigers? attack this season. He appeared in 16 games last season, starting 10 of them. He tallied two assists on the season and one goal, and was an emotional and physical leader on the field. He had one assist in the 3-2 win over Fordham in the Hartwick Invitational. In 1998, White had a goal and one assist in the semifinal victory over Marquette in the C-USA Tournament. White scored an assisted goal to break a 2-2 tie in a 3-2 win over DePaul. He also scored the game-winning goal for the second straight season to defeat Christian Brothers.

In 1997, White appeared in 17 games, scoring three goals and adding two assists. In addition to his game-winner against CBU, White scored a second game-winner against Vanderbilt. White prepped at Germantown High School, where he earned all-metro honors and was named the Most Valuable Offensive Player at the 1997 Brentwood Classic. He scored 30 goals and had 10 assists in 20 games as a senior. He led the Red Devils to the Tennessee State semi-finals in 1997 and scored five goals in two games at the Atlanta Tournament.
