DALLAS, Texas-The University of Memphis Men’s Soccer Team kicks off its spring scrimmage season, on Saturday, against Major League Soccer club F.C. Dallas. This will be the second year in a row the Tigers have met F.C. Dallas on the pitch.

“Schellas Hyndman of F.C. Dallas fantastic for bringing us in each year,” men’s head soccer coach Richie Grant said. “It’s a great game for our lads and it’s something different. It gives us some great preparation coming off the Christmas break; we basically go down there and play their whole squad. From our point of view it’s just a great start to the spring and it’s something we always look forward two.”

Along with F.C. Dallas, the Tigers will face UAB, Christian Brothers University and Irish team Colaiste Ide among others this spring. Memphis is coming off a season in which it finished 8-7-3 overall and 4-2-2 in its final run in Conference USA.
